Yippppeee Grandma is Retiring!!

HAPPY RETIREMENT GRANDMA MESIC!

This summer Grandma will retire, well semi. This means I get to spend at least one day a week with Grandma. It will be just me & Grandma, and sometimes Grandpa too. Tonight Mom and dad took me to Grandma's retirement party at the Rollings Hills Country Club in Palos Verdes. All of Grandma's office workers were there, and we had a very nice dinner. For the first time, I tried risotto and mashed potatoes...I am not sure if I liked it, but the ice chips were really yummy.

Belated congratulations to your Grandma for her successful retirement! I think spending one day a week with your grandparents is good enough to keep in touch with them. It'll be a fun experience, as you get to taste their delicious dishes and listen to their stories!
